But before they do that, they will hit local stores in search of school supplies, the latest fashion trend and materials to give their room a new look. Posters are a popular item among teenagers and they can find those at their favorite stores. At Spencer Gifts, at Parkway Plaza Mall in El Cajon, theyll get Child Hood, depicting three small children smoking a marijuana joint. Teens will gather at Communities Against Substance Abuse for a rally and announce results of a signature drive asking Spencer Gifts, Uforia, K-Mart, and other stores to stop selling posters, and other items promoting substance abuse. Teens talk about how easy it is for them to get alcohol and to drink on the beach. Youth ask City Council to put the alcohol ban on the ballot and let San Diego voters decide whether alcohol should be eliminated from the beaches.
